Governor Strickland joined the Central Ohio Labor Council to pay tribute to Ohio workers who were killed on the job in 2006. The event is held by labor organizations annually on or around April 28 which marks the anniversary of the creation of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Governor Strickland was the first Governor since Richard Celeste to pay respect to Ohio's fallen workers and provide comments. State Treasurer Richard Cordray, Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy and Columbus City Auditor Hugh Dorrian were also in attendance.
