Welcome to the Central Ohio Labor Council, AFL-CIO.



This Labor Council was first established on June 15, 1960,
when the Columbus Federation of labor (AFL) and the Franklin County (CIO)
Council formally merged to become the Columbus-Franklin County AFL-CIO.
In March 2004, when the constitution was updated is when the name changed to the
Central Ohio Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

With this website we will try to furnish all the unions with the current events
that affect the working families here in central Ohio.
As well as special events the Labor Council is involved with.
